Be Westbrook is a woman of pride, compassion and joy. Her life slogan is etched into her skin and represents Be’s heart and soul: “Live Life Through The Eyes Of Love”. Be is the executive officer of an NGO [non-governmental organisation (Peel Youth Services)], that supports young people in the Peel Region of WA. She is a professional trainer, life coach, early childhood teacher, youth worker, facilitator and presenter and is qualified in management and community services. Be is the sole trader of her own coaching business; Coaching House Australia and its sub-business, FIFO Life Coaching.
In 2013, Be was recognised by the National Australia Day Council (NADC) for her work, dedication and achievements within the community of Mandurah and the Peel Region of Western Australia. A year later, she led Peel Youth Services to be finalists in the Western Australia Council of Social Services (WACOSS)’s 2014 Community Services Excellence Awards (CSEA)—and two years prior in 2012, again led Peel Youth Services to win the CSEA award in the Partnerships and Strategic Alliances category for the South West, region of WA. Be describes herself as a mother with drive and passion. She states that it is her love for life that pushes her to achieve her goals and create opportunities for others. She has a poster on her office wall that says: “To seek knowledge and education is a gift we can give ourselves.”
