Luke has been unknowingly working his true ‘calling’ since being captivated by BBC Two’s ‘Working Lunch’ at 13 and debating the management issues of the day with his Dad over dinner. With help from an excellent team, Luke has grown his trusted advisor accounting practice to an owner-managed business which rivals any in the world. ‘Purpose’ by name and purpose by nature, Luke is living his passion every day. ‘I was put on this planet to make business owners’ lives better,’ he says.
With this passion, it’s no surprise that Luke’s business has grown year after year for the past 5 years and was recently shortlisted as one of the five best in the profession in Britain. Luke’s built a small family of professionals who really do care about the positive impact they make on each other, their clients’ lives and the wider world.
Luke tells us that ‘sometimes clients hug us.’Luke has an unquenchable thirst for learning and implementing new theories and experimenting with new technology. He sees every day as an opportunity to become better at what he does: improving the lives of clients and colleagues and, as a result, his own.
Luke has two beautiful children, a son and daughter, 9 and 7 years old. He has been married for 10 wonderful years to a girl that people constantly remind him is ‘out of his league’. He has spent 18 weeks of the last two years having magnificent holidays in the USA and France with family and friends and seeing many European cities with his wife.
