Sometimes children can be overwhelmed by their emotions and not know how to deal with them.
This workbook helps children understand and deal with their emotions. This workbook can be used in many ways:
For a child to use on their own and not shared unless they want to. Treat it like a diary and allow the child some privacy.
With a parent or caring adult in whose wisdom the child trusts to share their innermost thoughts.
In a group or even a classroom where pages can be used at random when the opportunity arises.
Use this book as a tool to help children think about how and what they are feeling, make it a bit of fun, and remember not to judge.
Teacher, therapist and counsellor, Rene Robinson is an expert in assisting children to understand and develop emotional intelligence. After raising three children and heading towards her retirement years, an unfortunate life circumstance left Rene as the sole carer for her two grandchildren. Her life changed overnight, and Rene had to use all her resources, skills, expertise and love, to navigate life with two traumatised toddlers.
Through education, experience and intuitive awareness Rene created psychologically safe environments for all the children she looked after, both at home and in the classroom. She created emotional havens for children to explore emotions and therefore themselves.
